Terms of service

1. The service

TipJarr provides daily ratings of Australian greyhound races: each morning, up to three pairs of dogs our model rates most likely to both finish in the top four, delivered by email to your verified address and shown on your account. We publish every rating's outcome publicly once its race has run.

2. Ratings, not guarantees

Our ratings are probabilities produced by a statistical model. They are general information, not financial or betting advice, and they are not a promise of any result or return. Probability is not profit: outcomes that are likely can still lose money after a bookmaker's margin. You alone decide whether to bet, and any bet is at your own risk.

3. Who can subscribe

You must be 18 or over and live in Australia. The service is not available to residents of South Australia. If you move to South Australia we will end your subscription and refund the unused part of your current period.

4. Your account

Keep your password and your email account secure. Every login requires your password and a code sent to your email. Your tips are for your personal use: you may not resell, republish or share them before the relevant race has run.

5. Price, billing and renewal

The subscription costs A$89 per month (including GST where applicable), charged when you subscribe and then every month on the same date until you cancel. We will tell you in advance, by email, of any price change, and you can cancel before it applies.

6. Cancelling

You can cancel online at any time from your account, in the same number of steps it took to sign up. Your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for. Pausing tip emails does not cancel billing.

7. Refunds and your consumer rights

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. See our refund policy.

8. Responsible gambling

If gambling stops being fun, stop. Free, confidential support is available 24/7 on 1800 858 858 or at gamblinghelponline.org.au, and you can self-exclude from all licensed betting providers at betstop.gov.au. You can pause our emails or cancel at any time.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law (including the Australian Consumer Law), we are not liable for betting losses or indirect loss arising from your use of our ratings.

10. Who provides the service

The service is provided by Mitchell Cross trading as Tip Jar Group (ABN 13 220 178 522). We may transfer the service, together with our rights and obligations under these terms, to a company we control. If we do, we will tell you by email at least 14 days beforehand. Your subscription, price and rights stay the same, and you can cancel before the transfer if you prefer.
