What the ratings are, and aren't
Knowing exactly what you're getting is part of the product.
They are
- Estimates from a model trained on hundreds of thousands of starts, using form, sectional times and race history.
- The exact chance two dogs both finish in the top four, worked out across every possible finishing order.
- Checked against every result, with each tip settled and kept on the record.
They aren't
- Certainties. Even a strongly rated pair will sometimes miss.
- Betting advice. We never quote prices or tell you what to bet.
- A reason to bet more than you can afford. If it stops being fun, free help is on every page.
